GNAR TAPES

I've been doing a lot of posts regarding various Gnar Tape releases lately, so I decided just to do a full breakdown of everything the Portland scuzzers have going on. They seem to be really excited about all of their upcoming cassettes, and I gotta say that so am I. They've consistently put out some of the best noise and experimental scuzz albums I've heard recently, and they're showing no signs of stopping any time soon. Get on this label's bandwagon now. Dope stuff.


First up is Jovontaes' new tape, Don't Vex. The Lexington, KY skate jammers have put out yet another killer for their 3rd release, and they supposedly have a new full-length LP set to release on the Woodsist sub-label, Hello Sunshine, in the next couple months.



Up next is the SF shoegaze group, Young Prisms. With their new tape set to drop in the next day or two, be sure to keep an eye out because you definitely need to pick up a copy. Check out this video for their jam "Sugar."
